The city is also home to miles of fine sand beaches and shallow waters.

Plantation

Plantation is a city in Broward County, Florida. Its population is 91,750. It is a principal city of the South Florida metropolitan area.

Lakeland

East of Tampa, Florida is the city of Lakeland. It features a downtown with early 1900s architecture and antique shops. The city is also home to Florida Southern College and buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. There’s also a promenade on Lake Mirror, a neoclassical garden, and the Polk Museum of Art.

St. Pete’s waterfront park

There are seven miles of waterfront green space in St. Pete, Florida. This green space was created in 1910, after the city council was forced to purchase waterfront property from Frank Allston Davis, owner of a power plant near St. Pete’s Yacht Club. Straub hoped that a public park would inspire residents to envision a more beautiful St. Pete. However, the waterfront was not ideal for commercial purposes, and he argued that a park could help bring in tourism.
